Julie Denby

Julie joined the Lieutenancy Team in January 2010 having worked for many years as an Acccountant with both public and private companies in Greater Manchester. After leaving 6th Form College she began her training with a small firm of Accountants in Hyde before working for British Gas for a period of five years. From there Julie moved to work for Norweb plc and, following a take-over, for United Utilities for a total of 17 years. Her last post was with Mouchel plc who worked in partnership for Rochdale Metropolitan Council.

Apart from running the Lieutenancy budget Julie's primary responsibilities are to organise the Citizenship ceremonies throughout the county and the administration of the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund. It is a delight to have her with us.
